British Universities Film and Video Council

The British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC) is a representative body which promotes the production, study and use of moving image, sound and related media in higher education and research. Our team is working closely with the BUFVC, who are playing a key role within the project through their creation of a database of Channel 4’s weekly Press Information Packs (1982 – 2004) under an agreement with Channel 4. This database will prove to be a useful digital resource both for the project and for future media researchers in general.
